DARK SMART GEL is a medium-thick consistency gel designed for strengthening, sculpting, and repairing nails.

How does SMART GEL differ from other Builder gels?

• Slightly thinner consistency, but still hard.
• Does not have a sticky inhibition layer.
• No need to remove the sticky layer from the base before application when using DARK SCOTCH base.
• No need to remove the sticky layer before top coat application.
• Minimal risk of lifting.

Application Method

1. Perform manicure, buff, and degrease the nail, then apply Ultrabond and Dehydrator.
2. Apply a thin layer of transparent SCOTCH BASE with rubbing movements, cure for 60 seconds.
3. Strengthen or build with DARK SMART GEL. Cure for 60-90 seconds at 48W (depending on color pigmentation).
4. With all DARK materials, it is important to use original lamps.
5. If necessary, remove the sticky layer and perform filing.
6. Apply top coat and cure for 90 seconds.

Work Nuances

• Easily cures when working with upper forms.
• Pinch the gel at 12-15 seconds.
• Possible to make an intermediate cure from 15 seconds.
• When applying, do not drag gel deep under the cuticle; there should be a smooth transition with minimal thickness near the cuticle.
• For nail reinforcement, always file your own nail from the inside by at least 1 mm to prevent lifting at the free edge.
• When working with another brand's base, we recommend removing the sticky layer from the base.
• The more transparent the gel, the more rigid it is.
• If the gel becomes thick in cold rooms, pre-warm the needed amount separately on a palette (not on a stand) until warm.
• Gels with glitter should be mixed before use.
