DARK SMART GEL is a medium-thick gel designed for nail strengthening, extension, and repair.

How does SMART GEL differ from other Builder gels?

• Slightly thinner consistency, yet remains hard.
• Does not have a sticky dispersion layer.
• You don't need to remove the sticky layer from the base when using DARK Scotch Base.
• No need to remove the dispersion layer before top coat application.
• Minimal risk of lifting.

Application Method

1. Perform a manicure, buff and degrease the nail, apply Ultrabond and Dehydrator.
2. Apply a thin layer of transparent SCOTCH BASE as a substrate, rubbing it in, and cure for 60 seconds.
3. Strengthen or extend the nail using SMART GEL DARK. Cure for 60-90 seconds at 48W (depending on pigment concentration).
   - Always use original lamps with all DARK materials.
4. If necessary, remove the sticky layer and file as desired.
5. Apply top coat and cure for 90 seconds.

Work Nuances

• Cures easily when working with dual forms.
• Pinch the gel at 12-15 seconds.
• You may do an intermediate cure of at least 15 seconds.
• When applying, do not bring the gel too deep under the cuticle; create a smooth transition with minimal thickness near the cuticle.
• When strengthening, always file your natural nail from the inside by at least 1 mm to prevent lifting at the free edge.
• If using a base from another brand, it is recommended to remove its sticky layer.
• The more transparent the gel, the harder it is.
• If the gel gets thick due to cold, you may warm it up to room temperature (do not heat in the jar, but take the needed amount onto a palette).
• Gels with glitter need to be stirred before use.
