DARK SMART GEL is a medium-viscosity gel designed for strengthening, building, and repairing nails.

• High-temperature tolerant, which allows for effective pinching;
• We recommend curing at reduced power and removing your hand in case of burning sensation;
• Strong but not brittle.

How does SMART GEL differ from other Builder gels?

• Slightly more fluid consistency, yet remains firm;
• Does not have a tacky sticky layer;
• No need to remove sticky layer from the base when working with DARK SCOTCH BASE;
• No need to remove tacky layer before applying the top coat;
• Minimal risk of lifting.

Application method

1. Perform manicure, buff and degrease the nail, apply Ultrabond and Dehydrator.
2. Apply a thin layer of transparent SCOTCH BASE as a substrate using rubbing movements, cure for 60 seconds.
3. Strengthen or build the nail with DARK SMART GEL. Polymerization time 60-90 seconds at 48W (depending on color pigmentation).
4. With all DARK materials, it is important to use original lamps.
5. If needed, remove the tacky layer and file the nail.
6. Apply the top coat, cure for 90 seconds.

Working nuances

• Easy to pre-cure when working with upper forms;
• Pinch the gel at 12-15 seconds;
• Intermediate curing can be done for at least 15 seconds;
• Avoid flooding the gel deep under the cuticle; ensure a smooth transition near the cuticle with minimal thickness;
• For nail strengthening, always file your own nail by at least 1 mm inside to prevent free edge lifting;
• When using a base from another brand, it is recommended to remove the sticky layer from the base;
• The more transparent the gel, the harder it is;
• If the gel is too thick due to cold room temperature, warm the required amount of gel (do not use a base heater, warm the gel on a palette beforehand);
• Gels with glitter must be mixed before use.

All DARK hard materials are NON-acidic.

Certified to European and Ukrainian standards, registered in the CPNP system. All DARK products are NOT tested on animals.
