Description 

DARK SMART GEL is a medium-thick gel designed for strengthening, sculpting, and repairing nails.

DESCRIPTION

• The gel is convenient to use with both long and short nails;
• High-temperature gel, so it can be pinched well;
• We recommend curing at reduced power and removing your hand from the lamp if a burning sensation occurs;
• Strong yet not brittle.

How is SMART GEL different from other Builder gels?

• Slightly more liquid consistency, while maintaining hardness;
• No sticky tacky layer;
• You do not need to remove the sticky layer from the base when working with DARK Scotch base;
• No need to remove the sticky layer before applying top coat;
• Minimal risk of lifting.

APPLICATION METHOD

1. Perform manicure, buff the nail, degrease, apply Ultrabond and Dehydrator.
2. Apply a thin layer of transparent SCOTCH BASE as an underlay with rubbing motions, cure for 60 seconds.
3. Strengthen or build using SMART GEL DARK. Curing time is 60-90 seconds under 48W (depending on shade pigment).
   - Use only original DARK lamps with all DARK materials.
4. If needed, remove the sticky layer and file.
5. Apply top coat and cure for 90 seconds.

WORKING TIPS

• Dries easily when used with upper forms/tips;
• Pinch the gel at 12-15 seconds;
• You can do an intermediate cure for 15 seconds;
• Do not apply the gel deep under the cuticle; ensure a smooth, minimal-thickness transition near the cuticle;
• For nail strengthening, always file at least 1 mm from the underside of your own nail to avoid free-edge lifting;
• When using bases from other brands, we recommend removing the tacky layer;
• The more transparent the gel, the harder it is;
• If the gel is too thick due to low room temperature, warm a necessary amount on a palette before use (do not heat the whole jar);
• Glitter gels should be mixed before use.

All DARK hard materials are NON-acidic.

Certified in Europe and Ukraine, the product is registered in the CPNP system, and all DARK products are NOT tested on animals.
