DARK SMART GEL is a medium viscosity gel designed for nail strengthening, extensions, and repairs.

• Suitable for both long and short nails;
• Withstands high temperatures, allowing for proper gel pinching;
• Recommended to cure at reduced power and remove the hand in case of burning sensation;
• Strong but not brittle.

How does SMART GEL differ from other Builder Gels?

• Slightly thinner consistency, yet the gel is hard;
• No sticky inhibition layer;
• No need to remove the sticky layer from the base before application when working with SCOTCH BASE DARK;
• No need to remove the sticky layer before top coat;
• Minimal risk of lifting.

Application Method

1. Perform manicure, buff and degrease the nail, apply Ultrabond and Dehydrator.
2. Apply a thin layer of transparent SCOTCH BASE as a base using rubbing motions, cure for 60 seconds.
3. Perform strengthening or extensions with DARK SMART GEL. Polymerization time is 60-90 seconds at 48W (depends on pigment).
4. With all DARK materials, original lamps are recommended.
5. If necessary, remove the sticky layer and file.
6. Apply top coat, cure for 90 seconds.

Working nuances

• Easily cures with dual forms;
• Pinching is recommended at 12-15 seconds;
• Intermediate curing for 15 seconds is possible;
• Do not apply gel deep under the cuticle-ensure a smooth transition with minimal thickness;
• For nail strengthening, file your natural nail by 1 mm from the inside to prevent lifting;
• When using base coats from other brands, it is recommended to remove the sticky layer from the base;
• The clearer the gel, the harder it is;
• If the gel becomes thick due to low temperature, the required amount can be pre-heated on a palette;
• Gels with glitter should be mixed before use.

All DARK hard gels are acid-free.
