DARK SMART GEL is a medium-thick consistency gel designed for strengthening, building, and repairing nails.

• The gel is convenient for use on both long and short nails;
• High-temperature resistant, allowing for optimal pinching;
• We recommend curing at reduced power and removing the hand in case of burning sensation;
• Strong yet not brittle.

How does SMART GEL differ from other Builder Gels?

• Slightly more liquid consistency but remains hard after curing;
• Does not have a sticky inhibition layer;
• There is no need to remove the sticky base layer before application when used with DARK SCOTCH BASE;
• No need to remove the sticky layer before applying top coat;
• Minimal risk of lifting.

Application Method

1. Perform manicure, buff and degrease the nail, apply Ultrabond and Dehydrator.
2. Apply a thin layer of SCOTCH BASE clear base as an underlay using rubbing movements, cure for 60 seconds.
3. Proceed with strengthening or building nails using SMART GEL DARK. Polymerization time 60-90 seconds at 48W (depending on pigment intensity).
4. With all DARK materials, it is important to use original lamps.
5. If needed, remove the sticky layer and file.
6. Apply top coat and cure for 90 seconds.

Working Nuances

• Cures easily when working with upper forms;
• Pinch the gel at the 12-15 second mark;
• Possible to do intermediate curing from 15 seconds;
• When applying, do not bring gel deep under the cuticle; ensure a smooth, minimal-thickness transition near the cuticle;
• If strengthening nails, be sure to file the natural nail from the inside by at least 1 mm to prevent lifting at the free edge;
• When using a base from other trademarks, we recommend removing the sticky layer from the base;
• The more transparent the gel, the harder it is;
• If the room is cold and the gel is too thick, you can warm the gel to a soft state (but not on a heater, instead take the necessary amount onto a palette and warm it);
• Gels with glitter must be mixed before use.

All DARK hard materials are NON-acidic.

Has European and Ukrainian quality certificates, the product is registered in the CPNP system, all DARK products are NOT tested on animals.
