Description
DARK PLATE - a metal plate for creating designs in the 'stamping' technique. It features deep and clear patterns for convenient use. A wide selection of designs allows for quick and easy creation of any pattern.
DESCRIPTION
- has high-quality engraving for convenient use;
- allows for even complex designs to be made without drawing skills;
- recommended for use with DARK STAMPING POLISH and DARK Stamping Stamp.
APPLICATION METHOD
1. Perform a manicure and apply a base/gél or color, cure in the lamp;
2. If a sticky layer is present - remove the sticky layer using DARK GEL CLEANSER;
3. Apply polish to the plate, scrape off the excess with a scraper, and transfer the pattern to the stamp;
4. Transfer the pattern from the stamp to the nail with a rolling or flat motion;
5. Top with a top coat (if the top coat runs off the pattern - apply a thin layer of clear base before applying the top coat).
POSSIBLE REASONS FOR STAMPING FAILURE
1. The polish should not be thickened; scoop enough polish with the brush to distribute it over the pattern;
2. Apply polish to the plate in 1-2 strokes; the longer it takes to apply the polish, the more likely it is to dry out in the air, which can result in poor stamping;
3. Work with the scraper at about a 45-degree angle without pressing too hard, to avoid 'pushing' the polish out of the pattern;
4. Work quickly with the scraper (2-4 strokes are enough), and don’t sweep across the entire plate;
5. Quickly place the scraper aside and take the stamp in your hand (remember that time is of the essence when working with polishes);
6. Transfer the pattern to the stamp with a soft rolling motion; DO NOT try to press the stamp hard down onto the plate, as the more pressure you apply, the more polish will remain on the plate.
