STAMPING POLISH DARK - these are stamping polishes that transfer easily when applied correctly, have a wide palette and rich pigmentation. They are not thick and work with all types of stamps.
APPLICATION METHOD
- perform a manicure and apply base/gel or color, cure in a lamp;
- if there is a sticky layer, remove it using DARK GEL CLEANSER;
- apply polish to the plate, scrape off the excess with a scraper and transfer the design to the stamp;
- transfer the design from the stamp to the nail with a rolling or smooth motion;
- top it with a top coat (if the top runs off the design, apply a thin layer of clear base first and then the top coat).
REASONS WHY DESIGN TRANSFER MAY NOT WORK
1. The polish should not be thickened, and you should pick up enough polish on the brush to distribute it over the design;
2. Apply polish to the plate with 1-2 strokes; the longer you apply the polish, the greater the chance that it will transfer poorly, as the polish dries in the air;
3. Work with the scraper at about a 45-degree angle and do not apply too much pressure to avoid “squeezing” the polish out of the design;
4. Work quickly with the scraper (2-4 strokes are sufficient), without sweeping across the whole plate;
5. Then quickly set down the scraper and pick up the stamp (remember that we have no extra time when working with polishes);
6. Transfer the design to the stamp with a gentle rolling motion; DO NOT attempt to press the stamp hard into the plate, the more you press, the more polish will remain in the plate.
